LotsaLoops started with a few leather scraps, a lot of curiosity, and me wondering, “What could I make with this?”
What began with simple leather card holders slowly turned into something much bigger — experimenting with punch needle, combining textures, playing with colour, and finding ways to turn everyday accessories into something a little more fun and personal.
Made slowly. Made by hand. Made with a little personality. 💜
Every LotsaLoops piece is made by me, one at a time. From punch needling each design to laser cutting the leather pieces and stitching them together by hand, there are lots of little steps behind something that eventually ends up on your keys or hanging from your favourite bag.
I love combining the softness and colour of punch needle with genuine leather to create pieces that are playful, practical and a little different from anything you’d find mass-produced.
Some of my favourite pieces are my 2-in-1 designs. 💜 They can be used as a keyring or bag charm, or simply popped into your car’s cup holder to double as a coaster. I love finding little ways to make something cute, handmade and practical all at the same time.

A little more about LotsaLoops 💜
What started with a few scraps of upholstery leather has grown into my own little collection of punch needle and leather accessories, all made here in Cape Town.
I use 100% cotton canvas for my punch needle pieces and genuine upholstery leather for my leather work. Each design goes through several stages before it’s finished, from punch needling and laser cutting to stitching and assembling everything by hand.
Most of all, I want LotsaLoops to feel fun, colourful and a little different — while still creating pieces that are practical, durable and affordable.
And I definitely don’t do all of this completely alone. 💜
My husband has always been my biggest fan and supporter. He’s the person I bounce ideas off, and he often helps me work through new leather piece designs and drawings when I have an idea I’m trying to bring to life. Having someone who believes in LotsaLoops as much as I do means more to me than I can say, and I’m incredibly grateful to have him beside me on this little crafting journey. 🥹
