About LotsaLoops
LotsaLoops is a small handmade business based in Cape Town, South Africa, specialising in handcrafted punch needle and genuine leather accessories and gifts.
All LotsaLoops products are individually handmade rather than mass-produced. Some components may be cut or engraved using tools such as a laser cutter, but every finished product is assembled, stitched, crafted or finished by hand.
This handmade process is part of the character of LotsaLoops products and means that small variations between individual pieces are completely natural.
Products and Handmade Variations
Every effort is made to describe and photograph LotsaLoops products as accurately as possible.
Because each product is handmade and materials such as genuine leather and textiles naturally vary, there may be small differences between individual items.
These may include variations in:
- Colour or shade
- Leather grain, texture or natural markings
- Stitching
- Punch needle texture and fibre placement
- Shape or positioning
- Small measurements or dimensions
- Placement of handmade decorative details
These natural and handmade variations are part of the character of each product and are not necessarily considered defects.
Colours may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, your device or your screen settings.
Product Availability
LotsaLoops products are handmade in small quantities and may therefore have limited availability.
Adding an item to your shopping cart does not necessarily reserve that item. An order is only confirmed once the checkout process and required payment have been successfully completed.
If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, LotsaLoops will contact you to discuss the available options, which may include a suitable alternative or a refund where appropriate.
Prices
All prices displayed on the LotsaLoops website are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may be changed from time to time. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been successfully placed and paid for, except where an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred and applicable law permits the error to be corrected.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.
Payments
Online payments on the LotsaLoops website are securely processed by iKhokha.
Customers can pay using Instant EFT, Visa or Mastercard through the iKhokha payment system.
An order will only be processed once payment has been successfully confirmed.
LotsaLoops does not receive, view or store your full debit or credit card details or online banking credentials. Payment information required to complete your transaction is handled securely by iKhokha.
LotsaLoops may receive information relating to your transaction, such as the payment status, amount paid and transaction reference, where necessary to confirm your payment and process your order.
Orders
After successfully placing an order, you should receive confirmation using the contact information supplied during checkout.
Please ensure that your name, email address, telephone number and delivery information are entered correctly.
If you notice an error in your order details, please contact LotsaLoops as soon as possible.
LotsaLoops reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving suspected fraud, an obvious pricing or technical error, unavailable stock, or circumstances that make fulfilment impossible.
Where payment has already been made and an order cannot be fulfilled, an appropriate refund will be arranged.
Processing Times
Because LotsaLoops products are handmade, processing times may vary depending on whether an item is already completed, made in a small batch, personalised or made specifically for an order.
Any estimated preparation or processing time provided on the website is an estimate rather than a guaranteed completion or delivery date unless expressly stated otherwise.
If an unexpected delay significantly affects your order, LotsaLoops will make reasonable efforts to let you know.
Custom and Personalised Orders
Custom and personalised products may be subject to additional requirements, pricing and production times.
The details of a custom or personalised order should be agreed upon before production begins.
Customers are responsible for checking any names, wording, dates, colours or other personalisation information supplied to LotsaLoops. Please make sure the information you provide is correct before production begins.
LotsaLoops cannot be responsible for errors resulting from incorrect personalisation information supplied by the customer.
Because custom and personalised items are made specifically for an individual customer, different cancellation and return rules may apply to these products, subject to your rights under applicable South African law.

Delivery
LotsaLoops delivers within South Africa using the delivery options made available during checkout.
Available delivery methods, charges and estimated delivery information will be displayed or explained on the website.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and, where applicable, selecting the correct collection point or delivery option.
Once an order has been handed to the delivery provider, delivery times may be affected by circumstances outside LotsaLoops’ direct control.
LotsaLoops will nevertheless assist where reasonably possible if there is a problem with the delivery of your order.

Returns, Refunds and Damaged Products
Returns, refunds, exchanges and damaged or defective products are handled according to the LotsaLoops Refund and Returns Policy and applicable South African consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Product Care and Use
Customers are responsible for using and caring for products appropriately.
Where care instructions or usage information are supplied with a product or displayed on the website, following those instructions will help preserve the condition of the item.
Normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, improper care or accidental damage after delivery is not considered a manufacturing defect, subject to applicable consumer law.

Intellectual Property
The LotsaLoops name, branding, original product designs, photographs, website content, written material and other original creative content belong to LotsaLoops or are used with appropriate permission, unless otherwise stated.
Content belonging to LotsaLoops may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without permission where protected by applicable intellectual property law.
Website Availability and Errors
Reasonable efforts are made to keep the LotsaLoops website accurate and available.
However, the website may occasionally contain errors, experience technical problems or be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or circumstances outside LotsaLoops’ control.
Where an obvious error affects an order, LotsaLoops will contact the affected customer and take reasonable steps to resolve the matter.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful under South African law.
To the extent permitted by law, LotsaLoops will not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Privacy
Personal information collected through the LotsaLoops website is handled in accordance with the LotsaLoops Privacy Policy and applicable South African privacy law, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the LotsaLoops website, products, services, business practices or legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on this page together with the date of the most recent update.
Changes will not retrospectively alter the terms of an order already completed unless required by law.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable South African consumer protection legislation.
